CECO is a 2023 Disney Grant Recipient

We're thrilled to announce that CECO has been chosen as one of 19 nonprofit organizations to receive a generous donation from Walt Disney World. This support will empower us to drive positive change in Florida by establishing a groundbreaking initiative: the PossAbilities Special Education and STEAM Lab.

Thanks to this incredible partnership with Disney, CECO will bring to life a cutting-edge space designed specifically for fostering Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education. Within this Disney-sponsored lab, our dedicated ESE teachers will lead transformative instruction aimed at enhancing our students' math, communication, social, and problem-solving skills.

The PossAbilities Lab will be equipped with state-of-the-art communication devices, advanced tools, and tailor-made instruments—all meticulously crafted to cater to our students' unique needs, amplifying their learning experiences.

Integrating STEAM-based curriculum into our existing programs will propel our students and participants to new heights of skill and growth. This dedicated lab will serve as a springboard, guiding our students through captivating scientific, mathematical, and interdisciplinary experiences. Through hands-on learning opportunities, our participants will engage with these concepts in tangible, immersive ways, igniting their passion for learning and nurturing their potential in the dynamic fields of STEAM.
